Write your application for the Blue Book traineeship at the European Commission

The Blue Book programme is a 5-month paid traineeship at the European Commission with start at October 2021 and is a great opportunity to see if a career within the EU is for you. During this workshop you will be guided through the application procedure.

Justyna Legutko, EUCareers Ambassador at Linneaus University, and former staff member of the Traineeship Office at the European Commission, will guide you through the application form for the traineeship in order to make sure it looks the best it can! (The workshop will be in English)

You can learn more about the traineeship HERE. The application period starts on 6 January and the deadline is 31 January.

In order to make the most of the workshop, we encourage you

  • to have a look at the application form before the workshop on 19 January. Bring all your questions, general or personal!
  • to browse through the WhoIsWho page of the European Commission and see which directorates you would be interested in. Don't hesitate to contact Justyna on EUCareers - LNU or under at any time, should you not be sure which directorate you can apply your knowledge and skills in.

You can only apply for the Blue Book traineeship if you already have or will have finished your Bachelor by 31 January 2021. If successful, your traineeship will start on 1 October 2021.

If you don't have your Bachelor degree yet, feel free to join and listen and get inspired!
