UNEP-EEAP 2021
The Environmental Effects Assessment Panel (UNEP-EEAP) conference will be held digitally 2021 and we will instead meet at Linnaeus University, Kalmar, Sweden in September–October 2022.
The digital conference is scheduled for 9-17 September (excluding weekends; detailed schedule is sent out via e-mail)

UNEP-EEAP gathers researchers with a broad expertise in the various effects of ozone layer depletion. The participants cover health effects, atmospheric chemistry, ecology, materials engineering, etc. and the panel evaluates how ozone layer depletion is affecting human health and ecosystems. This knowledge is then summarized and delivered to the parties of the Montreal Protocol to enable informed decisions.
Kalmar and a new university campus
In Kalmar you can feel the wings of history when walking among the beautiful buildings, in the small alleys, and in the town squares. Kalmar is an idyllic town located next to the Baltic Sea and with the island of Öland just a bridge away. In Kalmar, you can enjoy city and nature in the same place. Kalmar Castle and the city park, the university buildings, the paths along the sea – distances are short and within 5–10 minutes you can reach most places. In Kalmar, which to a large part consists of islands, you are always near the sea.
Not far from Kalmar, you will also find Glasriket, where you can see and experience glass and the history of the glassworks.
