Kalmar: Closing ceremony master level 2023

On June 2, 2023 Linnaeus University will hold its' closing ceremony for all students who complete their 1-year or 2-year master programmes in Kalmar during the academic year 2022/2023. The invitation applies whether you studied on site or at a distance.

If you have finished (autumn semester 2022) or is about to finish (spring semester 2023) your 1-year or 2-year master's programme at Linnaeus University you have received an invitation to participate at Linnaeus University's closing ceremony on June 2, in Kalmar.

For student that have been studying in Växjö, the ceremony will be held at May 31, in Växjö.

Place and time

Kalmar Theatre on June 2 at 1 p.m. to approx. 3 p.m. The closing ceremony opens with a welcome speech by the pro-vice-chancellor and the president of the Linnaeus Unionen. This is followed by entertainment and tribute ceremonies. The closing ceremony will end with the students' speech.

There will be reserved seats in the theatre for all students. Your invited guests will sit together on none reserved seats. There will be people on site who can guide you to your seat. The doors to the theatre l will be closed at 1 p.m. sharp when the ceremony begins. 

The closing ceremony master level are broadcasted live

The closing ceremony master level are broadcasted live on the web. This way, your family, friends and relatives can take part of the event even if they do not have the possibility to be present. Both the Ceremony from Växjö and the Ceremony from Kalmar will be found on this page.
