Between fact and story: characteristics of sustainable journalistic narration?

At the conference "Between fact and story", researchers and journalists will provide insights into the role of narratives in news reports, in features, and in transmedia storytelling.

The languages of the conference are English and Swedish.

Narratives are an important journalistic tool for reaching out with information. How do narrative patterns interact with the communication of facts? Can narrative strategies give rise to misinformation? What are the characteristics of a sustainable journalistic narration?

The event is organized by Linnaeus University Center for Intermedial and Multimodal Studies och Fojo Media institute.
