Dive into the Future: 12-Hour IoT & AI Adventure at Linnaeus University!

The day kicks off with a live stream as Fredrik Ahlgren, senior lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Media Technology, embarks on his journey to work followed by a campus meet-up over coffee. After introductions and a tactile tour of our campus, gear up for a thrilling 3D printing workshop, where our experts Tobias and Daniel will dip you into the amazing world of 3D modelling.

This will be followed by an open-air lunch where we chomp on sandwiches and salads while engaging in riveting discussions. During our lunch hours, come explore a range of IoT projects we've carried out, demonstrated in our IoT lab by Neda and Arslan. Weaves in other activities and student projects seamlessly.

In the afternoon, we embark on a sensor exploration over at the boat MS Dessi and continue live streaming for the journey. There's also an exciting opportunity to hear about AI and the university's role in a digital interview with our Vice Chancellor Peter Aronsson.

Later in the afternoon, while David installs LoRaWAN sensors, Fredrik Ahlgren, Johan Leitet and Anders Bjarby will entertain you with an insightful pod recording. As the afternoon winds down, enjoy the annual bathing ritual with our camera crew filming Tobias taking a dive and setting up a sensor.

At 5 pm, join Katarina Ellborg  and John Jeansson for an interactive session at the university's Business Lab. As the evening draws in, gather at T´Restaurang Zegel for a lecture, followed by a post-lecture discussion on how we visualize the bath sensor values with David and Tobias.
