CICE Conference 2023
Welcome to the CICE Conference! Centre of Interprofessional Collaboration within Emergency care (CICE) invites you to an annual conference 19-20 October, 2023. The CICE Conference is a joint arrangement with Regionsdagarna for intensive and perioperative care and BlÄljusstiftelsen.
This year's CICE Conference is a 20th anniversary and will be both broadcast live from and physically on site at the Emigrants' House in Växjö.
2023's overarching theme is Should public activity die now - Acute system collapse or societal innovation?
The conference will address, among other things, the following areas:
- Sustainable recruitment - competence supply and competence EXCHANGE
- Shifting responsibility - patient safety
- External challenges - crisis and crisis cooperation
- Civil preparedness - man in crisis
- Residents' trust in the good society
The main speakers are Jonna Bornemark, philosopher from Södertörn University and Pontus Juhlin, HR director at Region Kronoberg.

A sustainable event
CICE Conference is a sustainability-assured meeting in accordance with Linnaeus University’s guidelines for sustainable events. These guidelines are linked to the 17 global goals in Agenda 2030 and comprise the three dimensions of sustainable development: the economic, the social, and the environmental.
