Kalmar: Closing ceremony master level 2024
On 31 May, Linnaeus University will hold its' closing ceremony for all students who have completed, or are about to complete, their 1-year or 2-year master programme in Kalmar during the academic year 2023/2024. Students who have studied on campus as well as those who have studied in distance format are welcome to participate.
For students in Växjö, the corresponding ceremony will take place on 29 May.
Programme
The closing ceremony is a festive event with a mix of speeches and entertainment. The new graduates are invited onto the stage to be congratulated by their respective faculty. After the ceremony, there is time for mingle.
Invitation and more information
An invitation will be sent out by email in the beginning of March.
This email will contain information on how many guests you may bring and what dress code applies, etc.
All students who register for the closing ceremony will also receive more detailed information about the ceremony and how you will be celebrated during the ceremony.
Those who have studied in distance format are very welcome to take part on location, or can choose to take part via Zoom if this is preferred.
Live broadcast
The closing ceremony for master level students is broadcasted live on the web. This way, your family, friends, and relatives can take part of the event even if they cannot be present. A link to the live broadcast will be published earlier the same week on Lnu.se.
