The Arctic - Stories from the edge of the ice

In the endless light of the midnight sun, the vast expanses of ice stretch beyond the horizon. Here, on the edge of the world, we follow polar researchers from Linnaeus University and the artist Ida Rödén through stories, photographs and watercolours from international polar expeditions aboard the Swedish icebreaker Oden.

The exhibition is an invitation to pause and take in the Arctic’s fascinating yet fragile world. Through windows into the researchers’ work, we gain insight into the climate, the sea, the ice and life in one of the planet’s most vulnerable regions.
