Introduction by Vice-Chancellor Peter Aronsson.
In this conversation, we examine how the concept of culture can contribute to the university's vision of setting knowledge in motion for sustainable development, to make people grow and to cultivate good relationships with the earth. Between March 12 and September 19, the Earth Logic Design Agency explores how earth logic* perspectives can support imagination and agency of change to meet complex challenges, such as interconnected climate change, social injustice, mental ill-health, locally and globally. In the conversation, researchers, cultural practitioners, and decision-makers in the region meet: Filippa de Vos - Region Kronoberg, Helen Hägglund - The Cultural University/Lnu, Joacim Hansson - EUniWell/Lnu, Marina Jogmark - InKuiS project/Lnu, Brandon LaBelle – artist in residence at Linnaeus University,Christina Zetterlund - Craft and Design Historian/Lnu.
The conversation will be facilitated by Mathilda Tham and Åsa Ståhl, curators of Earth Logic Design Agency exhibition.
Earth Logic Design Agency, takes place in collaboration between The Cultural University and the research project Earth Logic Design in the programme InKuiS – Innovative Cultural Entrepreneurship in Collaborative Co-creative Research funded by the Kamprad Family Foundation.
