CUT IT OUT: Return to (the) inner garden(ing)  

In this transformative workshop, multidisciplinary artist Karishma Chugani Nankani (L’École de Papier) will share concepts of cultivating the inner garden as an act of resistance, sustainability and love, using the ancient traditional techniques of paper cutting.

Time: 15.00-16.30, with a short introduction by Mathilda Tham. 
Place: Hybrid workshop - Linnaeus University Library, Campus Växjö and Online.

Materials (provided in the live workshop): Scissors, scalpel for paper, cutting board, origami papers 15 x 15 (plain and printed), A4 size light coloured card 150gm. 

The Earth Logic Design Agency exhibition explores how an earth logic perspective can generate necessary change agency and imagination to address complex global challenges. To grow change in the outer world, tending to our inner wellbeing and leadership is essential. This is what this creative workshop is about. Karishma Chugani Nankani made the illustrations for the book Gardening Earth Logic: A practical guide to growing ecological, social, cultural and economic change, by Kate Fletcher and Mathilda Tham, 2023. The workshop forms part of the Earth Logic Design Agency, an exhibition taking place in collaboration between The Cultural University and the research project Earth Logic Design in the programme InKuiS – Innovative Cultural Entrepreneurship in Collaborative Co-creative Research funded by the Kamprad Family Foundation. The exhibition is curated by Mathilda Tham and Åsa Ståhl.
