The Earth Logic Design Agency is taking the meaning of Cultural entrepreneurship as to grow healthy relationships between people, other species, Earth, the specific place, and self. We see a diversity of economies as an important dimension of this. How can the market and monetary economy become less dominant? In which practical ways can designers intervene to create heterogenous economies? Why is this important for: social, cultural, ecological and economic sustainability?
This will be a conversation with Bianca Elzenbaumer from Brave New Alps who will share insights from theoretical and hands-on approaches to eco-social design practices and community economies.We will also be in dialogue with the 3rd year BFA Design + Change students who will be designing hyper local and Earth Logic currencies for particular needs they identify at the university.
The conversation is facilitated by Mathilda Tham and Maja Frögård.
Earth Logic Design Agency, takes place in collaboration between The Cultural University and the research project Earth Logic Design in the programme InKuiS – Innovative Cultural Entrepreneurship in Collaborative Co-creative Research funded by the Kamprad Family Foundation. The exhibition is curated by Mathilda Tham and Åsa Ståhl.
