Change starts here!
Citizen science, open science and transdisciplinary collaboration are often put forward as key ingredients for responding to urgent and complex global challenges. But what opportunities and dilemmas do they present in practice? What is required from the individual researcher, collaborator, and from the university and collaborating organizations to realize the potentials and negotiate potential risks? What roles can an engaged scholar take*? The Earth Logic Design Agency wants to create a space to explore what research can be that genuinely supports the health and survival of Earth and all its species.
This session is for:
• you who are thinking about how you can make a difference in your role or future role as a researcher
• you who want to support researcher change agents
• you who want to collaborate in exciting and transformative ways
In the conversation you will meet Ann-Charlotte Larsson, sub-project manager Collaboration and Public Engagement in project Open Science, Chiara Lenza, Linnaeus Knowledge Environment: Sustainable Health, Mariana Gómez Johannesson, External Relations, Linnaeus University, Sebastian Stjärna, Verklighetslabbet, Region Kronoberg. Mathilda Tham and Åsa Ståhl, researchers and curators of the exhibition Earth Logic Design Agency will lead the conversation.
The exhibition Earth Logic Design Agency is a collaboration between the research project Earth Logic Design and The Cultural University and the project Rock your research, funded by the European Union.
