Emotional Intelligence to Emotional Well-being: The Role of Customer Engagement and Authentic Interactions

Recent advancements in emotive artificial intelligence (AI) are changing the way the tourism industry interacts with travelers, allowing AI to understand and respond to emotions. However, there's still limited understanding of how AI's emotional abilities affect travelers' well-being.

Drawing on Dr. Foroudi’s research, this seminar will explore the role of AI's emotional intelligence in enhancing personalized travel experiences and improving the emotional well-being of travelers, offering insights into how emotionally capable AI can contribute to a more engaging and satisfying tourism experience.

Intro by Associate professor Clarinda Sousa Jansberg.
