Career Day Technology 2025

Career Day Technology is a full-day event that brings together companies, organisations, and students within the fields of construction, computing and IT, and technology. The aim is to create opportunities for networking, collaboration, and future recruitment.

This year’s Career Day Technology offers a chance for both companies and students to establish valuable contacts and explore potential career paths.

The event will take place in several buildings on the Växjö Campus and include lectures, networking activities, and an fair with representatives from various companies and organisations. The programme also features speed-dating sessions and a meme competition, where students can demonstrate their creativity in a light-hearted way.

Programme (divided by student group)

Below you can access the programme, organised by student group. However, all activities during the day are open to everyone. The careers and projects of the future are becoming ever more interdisciplinary.

Be sure to take the opportunity to speak to the companies in the exhibition. They are all prepared to speak to you, and many of them are very interested in collaborations, no matter the language.

Competition rules

Your meme can be about life as a technology student, project chaos, exam cramming, internship dreams, the future job market, collaboration with industry etc.

How to participate

Create a meme based on the theme.
You can use your own photo, a screenshot from a film/game, or a classic “internet meme” format.
