The EEMiS retreat promises to be an engaging and collaborative gathering, with its primary aim being the sharing of ongoing research within the EEMiS community. The theme for this year is Open Science, Reproducibility and Ethics
The EEMiS Retreat is a 2-day event that will take place at Ekerum Resort Öland.
1st and 2nd year PhD students will prepare 2-5 minute oral presentations. 3rd and 4th year PhD students and Postdocs will will prepare posters for this conference.
Last day to register: October 8th
Deadline to send in your poster: October 7th.

And follow-up workshop
Josefin Sundin, one of the whistleblowers who exposed scientific misconduct behind a high-profile Science paper on microplastics in fish, has contributed to Open Science discourse through co-authored publications and commentaries, including the recommended Current Biology article (Bertram et al., 2023) that introduces Open Science principles, implementation barriers, and the consequences of neglecting them. Her work spans behavioural ecology, fish biology, and the impacts of human-induced environmental change.
