Workshop on Quantum Harmonic Analysis, 2026
At the crossroads of mathematics, physics, and computer science, this workshop focuses on strengthening the mathematical foundations of quantum technologies and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
The meeting aims to bring researchers working at the interface of mathematics, physics, and computer science. Its goal is to strengthen and advance the mathematical foundations of quantum technologies. With expertise ranging from operator algebras and quantum harmonic analysis to combinatorial approaches and higher structures in mathematics, the hope is that conference will be a platform for interdisciplinary collaborations. The workshop further seeks to consolidate and expand existing connections between quantum harmonic analysis, Wick/anti-Wick operators in the Bargmann setting, mathematical physics, quantum information, machine learning, and time-frequency analysis.

Travel information
How to Reach Växjö
The closest (larger) international airport is Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup). During working days, there is usually at least one train per hour from early morning to late evening. During weekends, the trains are more sparse (between one and two hours between departures), and sometimes parts of the trip are split into more than one segment, where one part might be by replacement bus. However, the same train ticket between the airport and Växjö is always valid on all routes.
There are especially two train companies: SJ and Öresundstågen.
-
Öresundstågen tickets are more flexible. Once activated, the ticket is valid on any train and bus between Copenhagen and Växjö, as long as the ticket has not expired.
-
SJ tickets are valid only for the specific assigned train.
You may book train tickets in advance (for both companies) at:
https://www.sj.se
You may also buy tickets at ticket machines in the entrance hall of the airport, as well as at different locations at Växjö railway station.
How to Travel Between Växjö City Center and the University
By Bus
There are several bus lines that stop close or rather close to the university.
Bus no. 3
-
City center stops: “Växjö station” or “Linnéparken”
-
University stop: “Universitetet”
-
In the city center, choose direction “Universitetet”.
-
At the university, choose direction “Samarkand”.
Bus no. 1 or 5
-
City center stop: “Växjö station”
-
Stop close to the university: “Teleborgs centrum”
-
In the city center, choose direction “Teleborg”.
-
Near the university, choose any direction except “Teleborg”.
By Bike
For those who have access to a bike, there are good bike lanes between the city center and the university. The distance between these places is approximately 4–5 km.
How to Reach the Conference from the Bus Stops
The conference will be held in the D-building.
A map of the university is available at:
https://lnu.se/globalassets/dokument---gemensamma/lokal--och-serviceavdelningen/campuskartor/karta_vaxjo_campus1.pdf
-
The bus stops for bus no. 3 are marked on the map with bus symbols. The closest stop to the D-building is near building G and Epic.
-
The bus stops for bus no. 1 and 5 are located at the junction between “P G Vejdes väg” and “Teleborgsvägen”.
