Forklift from Cargotec

Gunilla Bradley Centre to recruit postdocs for commercialization of digital services for industry

Two postdoc positions are to be filled to develop and apply knowledge of how to create economic value from the use of digital technologies in industrial machines, in collaboration with forklift manufacturer Cargotec in Ljungby.

The research group Gunilla Bradley Centre for Digital Business (GBC) is now recruiting two young researchers (postdoc positions). Both positions are to partake in a unique collaboration between Cargotec Sweden AB, leading provider of forklifts globally, the Centre for Information Logistics in Ljungby and Gunilla Bradley Centre at Linnaeus University; all three in the Småland region of southern Sweden.

The theme of this collaboration is "commercialization of digital services for industrial machines". The collaboration is to include both knowledge development and knowledge application with regard to how to create and appropriate economic value from the use of digital technologies in the context of industrial machines.

The two postdoc positions are aimed at full time research for two years, respectively. The postdocs are to work closely with a team constituted by senior GBC researchers and professionals from Cargotec.

The recruitment information for the two positions – the Cargotec Postdoc Fellowship in Digital Business Productivity and the Cargotec Postdoc Fellowship in Digital Business Services – can be found at our web page Work at the university.
