1-year and 2-year master students celebrated at grand ceremony
On Thursday, May 18, Linnaeus University held its first common closing ceremony for 1-year and 2-year master students. The grand ceremony was held at Växjö Concert Hall. About 100 Swedish and international students participated at the ceremony.
The welcome speech was delivered by pro-rector Catherine Legrand together with the student union's chariman Victor Lagercrantz. Then the students were welcomed up on the stage where they were congratulated by their respective dean.
Zubah Kollie Yennego, from the master programme business process and supply chain management delivered the students' speech. He talked passionately about his student journey, from Liberia to Sweden.
The ceremony's grand finale was a balloon rain which was then followed by mingle with food and drinks for students and invited guests.
