Gunilla Bradley Centre delivers industrial seminar for the pharmaceutical industry

Professor Darek Haftor addressed 40 executives from life science firms at a seminar entitled Digital Business Models: Do life science need to care?

At a seminar on digital business on 16 February, professor Darek M Haftor from the research group Gunilla Bradley Centre for Digital Business at Linnaeus University addressed some forty executives from life science firms that gathered in Stockholm.The seminar was entitled Digital Business Models: Do life science need to care? and was arranged by Ashfields Nordic AB.

Life science firms, such as pharmaceuticals and medical technology providers, tend to lag behind the recent digitalization trends as manifested in other industries: travel, entertainment or finance and insurance. Professor Haftor's talk explored the unexplored opportunities of life science firms in utilizing digital technologies to create an appropriate business value.
