New supplementary training for nurses with degrees from countries outside the EU/EES and Switzerland
The training programme is a combination of courses and the aim is that the students, once they have completed the programme, should have acquired the knowledge and skills required for applying for a Swedish nurse certificate.
In spring term 2018, Kalmar is a new study venue for this type of training programme. Those who live in southern Sweden should have the opportunity to study in their "home region". The training programme is a combination of courses and the aim is that the students, once they have completed the programme, should have acquired the knowledge and skills required for applying for a Swedish nurse certificate with The National Board of Health and Welfare.
In order to be qualified for the training programme you must have: 1. completed a post-secondary nursing programme in a country outside the EU/EES and Switzerland 2. obtained a decision about supplementary programme for nurses from The National Board of Health and Welfare 3. passed grade in Swedish, Swedish B or Swedish with at least the grade passed/E.
