Linnaeus University gets SEK 5 million from Crafoordska stiftelsen

Crafoordska stiftelsen has completed its annual allocation of grants to scientific research. Thirteen researchers at Linnaeus University have now been allocated a total of SEK five million.

The following researchers at Linnaeus University have received money from the foundation:

  • Markus Zöttl, department of biology and environmental science, SEK 1,200,000
  • Johan Höglund, department of languages, SEK 1,000,000
  • Jonas Svensson, department of cultural sciences, SEK 500,000
  • Marie Oscarsson, department of health and caring sciences, SEK 400,000
  • Daniel Sundberg, department of pedagogy and learning, SEK 350,000
  • Sharafat Ali, department of built environment and energy technology, SEK 300,000
  • Marcelo Ketzer, department of biology and environment, SEK 250,000
  • Anna Augustsson, department of biology and environment, SEK 200,000
  • Mark Dopson, department of biology and environment, SEK 200,000
  • Mohammed Hefni, department of chemistry and biomedical sciences, SEK 200,000
  • Magnus Hagevi, department of political science, SEK 175,000
  • Päivi Juvonen, department of Swedish, SEK 100,000
  • Hans Hägerdal, department of cultural sciences, SEK 75,000

Crafoordska stiftelsen was founded in 1980 and its task is to "...without profit-making purpose for individual or organisation, promote scientific teaching and research as well as care, upbringing and education of children and youth".
