Rana Mostaghel appointed new director of the Gunilla Bradley Centre for Digital Business

Looks forward to bring the research group into a future where the links between disciplines and between academia and industry are further developed.

On May 3, a special ceremony was conducted where professor Gunilla Bradley presented her new book The good ICT Society. From Theory to Actions, published by Routledge. In conjunction with this, the research centre at Linnaeus University named after Gunilla Bradley – the Gunilla Bradley Centre for Digital Business – held a short ceremony where the center's new director was installed: dr Rana Mostaghel, senior lecturer at the school of business and economics.

The succeeded director, professor Darek M Haftor, held a short speech, where he summarized the unique profile of the centre, which was inaugurated some two and a half years ago by Sweden's IT minister and the current vice-chancellor of Linnaeus University, professor Peter Aronsson. Among other things, Darek Haftor said that "the centre has succeeded to link the research efforts of researchers from diverse disciplines around common societal challenges, particularly those of the Swedish industry's transformation into digitalized operations".

The new director, Rana Mostaghel, thanked for the confidence and support of the members of the centre and said that she will "bring it into a future where the links between disciplines are further developed and the links between academia and industry are nurtured".
