SEK 13.5 million to Linnaeus University

Just recently, The Swedish Research Council allocated research funds within the research fields of the natural sciences, technology, and educational science. Four applications from Linnaeus University were granted a total amount of SEK 13.5 million.

Stefan Sellbjer, associate professor at the department of pedagogy, has been granted SEK 4.2 million for the project “Hur svårt kan det vara? – En teorigenererande studie om kunskapskrav och lärandeprogression genom utbildningssystemet”.

Mariana Frid Dalarsson, postdoctoral fellow at the department of physics and electrical engineering, has been granted SEK 3.3 million for the project ”Vågledarteori för artificiella material och plasmonik”.

Mark Dopson, professor at the department of biology and environmental science, has been granted SEK 3.2 million for the project “Syntrofi och symbios för överlevnad och tillväxt I den djupa terrestra biosfären”.

Per Nilsson, senior lecturer at the department of chemistry and biomedical sciences, has been granted SEK 2.8 million for the project “Biomaterialinducerad tromboninflammation – patofysiologiska mekanismer i humant blod vid kontakt med konstgjorda material”.
