Johan Höglund, the Director of the cutting-edge research center Concurrences, has been granted 50 000 SEK from the Åke Wiberg foundation for the PhD research school that Concurrences organizes every other summer.
“This is a very important contribution to our research school. It makes it possible for us to also invite teachers and PhD students from the global south”, says Höglund.
The theme of the planned research school is “The Colonial Anthropocene” and it will shed light on how colonialism, as a way of understanding the world and as a practice, has contributed to climate change.
