Important information about 16-17 January for employees and students at Linnaeus University

On Thursday-Friday 16–17 January 2020, Linnaeus University will host one of Sweden’s largest conferences, Matematikbiennalen. During the conference, some 2,500 participants will gather at Linnaeus University in Växjö to take part of lectures, workshops, and exhibitions. This will lead to some changes for members of staff and students at Linnaeus University in Växjö.

At the entrance between building H and K, a large tent will be put up during the weekend before 16–17 January. Therefore, this entrance will be closed to members of staff and students between 11 and 19 January.

What is more, there may be a change to the timetable for entrance door locks and restaurant Kristina will not be open to members of staff and students 16–17 January. It is also important to keep in mind that there will be a shortage of parking spaces during these days, so if it is possible for you to travel by public transportation or bicycle we recommend doing so.

Would you like to participate in Matematikbiennalen? Last day to register is 20 December.
