Linnaeus University sees great increase in number of admitted international master’s students

Admission results have now been sent out to all applicants who have applied to this autumn’s international master’s programmes at Swedish universities and higher education institutions. In total, the number of admitted students has increased by 10 percent compared to the autumn term 2018 – and for Linnaeus University the increase is 40 percent.

For the autumn semester 2018, Linnaeus University admitted 1,132 students to international master’s programmes. For the autumn semester 2019 this figure is 1,583, an increase with 40 percent.

“In percentage points, our increase is the largest of all universities that admit more than 1,000 students to international master’s programmes, which feels great”, says Stefan Haglund, communication strategist within international student recruitment at Linnaeus University.

The master’s programmes at Linnaeus University that admit the highest number of students are marketing, international relations, and international business strategy.
