New external advisory group headed by Kristina Alsér

Linnaeus University has established an external advisory group to further strengthen the university’s work with strategic collaborations and donation-promoting activities. Chairman of the group is Kristina Alsér, honorary doctor at Linnaeus University and former county governor of Kronoberg County.

The external advisory group will consist of key individuals from different industries and fields in society.

“We must work in a more structured way with our collaboration with the surrounding community. We know that we have a number of fields to which companies and public actors in the region are committed. Therefore, the group will now look at what opportunities there are to increase collaborations and donation-promoting activities that can strengthen the university’s development and help us solve important societal challenges”, says vice-chancellor Peter Aronsson.

Kristina Alsér has been appointed chairman of the group for the period 25 February 2019–31 December 2020.
