On account of the government’s new recommendations

At a press conference this morning March 17, the Public Health Agency informed that the government recommends all universities and higher education institutions to switch over to web-based education as from tomorrow Wednesday.

The vice-chancellor has summoned his management team, the crisis management group, the crisis management support, the office managers, the staff organisations, and the principal safety representatives to an extended crisis management meeting at 1 pm today. On the agenda are the consequences of today’s new recommendations from The Public Health Agency of Sweden for universities and higher education institutions to switch over to web-based teaching.

The university’s senior management team and crisis management group is currently holding a meeting and will provide further information during the day on how Linnaeus University will handle the situation that has arisen.
