We can help you succeed with your studies

We think it is important that you enjoy your time with us and that you succeed in your studies. Therefore, we would like to inform you that we offer quite a few activities and support that can be helpful during your studies.

If you have questions concerning your study situation, you are welcome to contact a student counsellor at your faculty and the teacher education.

The Student Welfare Office offers professional conversation support free of charge when you are feeling down and need someone to talk to. They also offer courses in stress management, speech anxiety, procrastination behavior, etc.

At the University Library/Academic Skills Centre, you can get help with, among other things, information searches, academic writing, oral presentation techniques, and study techniques. Also, make sure not to miss out on our activities within the frame of “How to succeed with your studies”, a collaboration between the ASC and The Student Welfare Office.

Are you in need of support due to a disability? In that case, you should contact our coordinator for studying with a disability and check whether you can receive pedagogical support during your studies.

The Linnaeus Union represents all students at Linnaeus University and they work to make sure that your time as a student becomes as good as possible.

As a student at Linnaeus University, you have rights and obligations, within, among other things, areas like equal opportunity and study environment. It is important to us that you feel safe and fairly treated. If you experience discrimination, harassment or any other type of negative treatment, here is information on how to file a report.

Good luck with your studies, we hope that you will enjoy your time with us at Linnaeus University.
