Travel in a sustainable way

Travel in a sustainable way in Kalmar, collect points and get rewarded!

Today, 1 September, as the first city in Sweden, Kalmar launches the app BetterPoints. Join in and contribute to a healthy and sustainable Kalmar and take part of great offers!

Your travels with bicycle, by foot, and public transport to, from or within Kalmar are automatically logged and converted into points which can then be traded for different offers or donated to charity. You can also save up chances to win and take part in a prize draw every month.

As a student, you can save up extra points by taking part in our challenges. The first challenge is “Park correctly” which means that you earn extra points when you park your bicycle in the bicycle stands.

We will be at the guest harbor outside restaurant Zegel on Wednesday 2 September from 08.30–10.00. The first 25 students who come visit us will get a backpack cover each. If you stop by and show us that you have downloaded the app you will also earn extra points!
