After a two-year break, the International Center for Mathematical Modeling at Linnaeus University is once again arranging its annual conference in the field of quantum information and probability. The conference will take place 25–27 August 2021 on site in Växjö, but on a smaller scale than usual.
This year's conference, which is the twenty-first one in the series, is entitled Quantum Information and Probability: From Foundations to Engineering (QIP). It will be held in Växjö, like all previous conferences, with participants from the EU and Canada.
However, the conference is on a smaller scale than usual, with about 20 participants. These will discuss foundational problems of quantum physics, with a special focus on quantum information. In addition to the participants, there are a few places left for additional listeners to follow the lectures.
One of the conference plenary talks will be given by professor Philippe Grangier from France, one of the world's leading experts in quantum information theory.
