In the mentor program students and professionals are paired in order to exchange experiences and prepare the student for his/hers future career. This year no less than 70 pairs participated in the program, which is a new record for the mentor program at Linnaeus University. Mentors and mentees met in a kick-off zoom meeting on 4 October.
The program offers a general arrangement with mentorship but also specializations for IT students as well as students who chose to focus on leadership within the Junior Leadership Academy.
Individual meetings between mentor and mentee fill now follow. Career advisors will offer the mentees a voluntary follow-up meeting during the autumn semester. The mentor program will continue until April, when all participants meet during a closing event.
