Colonial and postcolonial studies at Linnaeus University moves into its second year

A new batch of first year students have arrived for the Linnaeus University master’s programme in colonial and postcolonial studies. While the second year students are preparing for the field- and archive work in their master’s theses, there is now a new academic year of coursework with enthusiastic discussions among students from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Cameroon, Sweden, Jamaica, and Germany.

All students will meet in the student organised seminar series ‘Postcolonial encounters’ and the student blog “A decolonial view” on the programme website will keep posting columns, reviews and reflections. The most recent one takes a critical view on the HBO series White Lotus.
