Opportunity to exert influence in Linnébarometern 2021
All students who study a programme at first-or second-cycle level now have the opportunity to make their voices heard and say what think about the programme they are studying by taking part in the student survey Linnébarometern. The technical problems that resulted in the fact that it was not possible to fill in the questionnaire for a few hours have been solved, so take the opportunity to affect the development of your programme.
Today, the student survey Linnébarometern was sent out to all our programme students at first- and second-cycle level. Have you not yet taken the opportunity to affect the development of your programme – welcome to do so now! You will find the link to the questionnaire in your student email. It takes roughly 10–15 minutes to fill in and it is very valuable for the quality development of your programme.
“To those of you who tried to fill in the questionnaire this morning but could not get in, we would like to apologise for the technical error that made this impossible. The problem was solved after a few hours and you can now once again access the questionnaire via the link to answer the questions”, says Magnus Eriksson, project manager for Linnébaormetern 2021.
Students’ learning is at the centre of the questionnaire and it focuses on the programme’s content, implementation and examinations, not least in relation to the change to online teaching and examinations during the covid-19 pandemic.
Linnébarometern is carried out every third year. In this year’s round, the questionnaire is sent out to all programme students at first- and second-cycle level, instead of only to students in the final stages of their programme like before.
“Linnébarometern is a powerful tool in our systematic quality-assurance work. The results are used in programme development work, in the dialogue between the university’s senior management team and the heads of faculty, and make up a basis in different assessments”, says Niklas Ammert, pro-vice-chancellor and chair of the Council for Education and Learning.
The results will be presented after the summer in a university-common report and in the form of shorter compilations for each faculty.
