The donation comes from the Irene and Bo Adolfsson Foundation, whose scholarship fund is based on the couple's will. The intention is to award scholarships to talented, promising and needy students at Linnaeus University.
"It is with great gratitude that Linnaeus University receives this donation for the benefit of our students," says Vice-Chancellor Peter Aronsson.
Students at Linnaeus University can now apply for the scholarships that relate to studies and subsistence. Applicants must have been born in Kalmar municipality and may have reached an age of no more than twenty-six years.
