Theme: Indigenous tourism research from the perspective of Finnish Lapland

Monika started working with the Indigenous Sámi 30 years ago. Her presentation will focus on lessons learned during these years, among others, reciprocity, taking sides, being labelled, long-term commitment, trust-building and recognising polyphony, which she sees foremostly as issues of cultural sensitivity and research ethics.
