Doctoral student wanted for graduate school in agri-data management
Do you want to become the data executive of the future, who focuses on the analysis and availability of data with creativity and innovative thinking as obvious characteristics? The graduate school EnTrust is looking for a doctoral student to develop a socio-ecological value scorecard for farming, starting early 2024.
16 universities and companies from five European countries, including Linnaeus University and Södra, are collaborating in a new, large project called EnTrust. The focus of the project is how data from forestry and agriculture can be made available, regulated and utilized, and how the benefits of this can be shared fairly between farmers, society and companies. At the same time, the project will benefit biodiversity.
Eleven doctoral students
A large and important part of EnTrust is the eleven doctoral students who will be employed. Their research will take place at the intersections between computer science, information systems and social science.
"The goal is for them to be trained as data executives of the future, who focus on analysis and availability of data, with creativity and innovative ways of thinking as obvious characteristics, says Arianit Kurti, associate professor at Linnaeus University and leader of the Swedish part of the project.
