Participate in a workshop on how to engage students in the university's climate action

How do we at Linnaeus University utilise students' knowledge and commitment to climate change in our education? How do we meet students with climate anxiety and climate anxiety?

The Council for Sustainability and the Climate Students are now inviting all interested staff and students to participate in discussions about student engagement and student participation on these issues during a workshop on 17 October. Sign up already now!

The workshop will provide an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience and to discuss together. Participants include:

  • Martin Gren, Professor of Human Geography, Linnaeus University: ‘Working on the climate emergency - some reflections’
  • Klimatstudenterna Lnu: ‘How students initiate climate action on campus’
  • Alexis Engström, University Pedagogical Developer, Mid Sweden University: ‘An active student participation companion’

You can participate on site or via Zoom. You will also be offered coffee on site. 

Time: Thursday 17 October at 15-17
Location: Room N1051, building N, Växjö, or via zoom
This workshop is held in English.
