Astronauts Christer Fuglesand och Marcus Wandt

Greetings from Space with Marcus Wandt and Christer Fuglesang 21 March

One month ago, astronaut Marcus Wandt returned to Earth after 18 days on the International Space Station (ISS). Now you have the opportunity to listen to him talk about his space adventure in connection with a conference at Linnaeus University.

On 20–21 March, the Swedish Space Scientist Association (SRS) holds its annual conference. Linnaeus University is hosting the conference, which takes place on the university's campus in Växjö.

In connection with the conference, we open up the doors for students and staff at Linnaeus University to participate in the "Greetings from space!" lecture in IKEA-salen on Växjö campus.

The lecture will start with a greeting via link from Christer Fuglesang, who was Sweden's first astronaut. After this, Marcus Wandt will give a digital presentation, followed by time for questions. The astronauts will talk about their respective space journeys. The presentations will be given in English.

Time: Thursday 21 March at 2.00-3.00pm. Make sure to show up well in advance, the doors close at 2:00pm.
