International research symposium on participatory methods in research and clinic
Some 30 researchers, clinicians, students, tech developers, and managers from Sweden and Canada convened on 8 February 2024 for a creative hybrid meeting.
The theme for the symposium was Actively Engaging Older Adults in Research and Practice and the goal was to exchange experiences and knowledge, and to generate ideas for new motivating questions. This was the second symposium in an ongoing collaboration between Linnaeus University and the University of Calgary in Canada.
Co-hosts for the event were Sofia Backåberg, associate professor at the Department of Health and Caring Sciences, and Homa Rafiei Milajerdi and Georgina Freeman at the University of Calgary.
