Kristina Gustafsson has been promoted to Associate Professor in Social Work. On 5 June, she will hold a lecture where she summarises more than ten years of research on global migration, legal security, language and social work. The focus is on the theme Interpreted encounters. The title refers both to Gustafsson's many years of research on interpreting in public activities and a theoretical understanding of interpreting the meetings that take place every day between individuals who do not speak Swedish and social workers in the welfare sector.
