New security requirements for logging into Ladok for some students on October 15
This means that as of Tuesday, October 15, 2024, a higher level of security and verification of users with a Swedish Personal Identity number who have access to Ladok is required. This means that users need to have a higher security level on their student account (AL2).
As part of the ongoing work with Linnaeus University's local IT security work and nationally within the Ladok consortium, the security requirement for logging into Ladok will be increased at all universities.
- Via BankID in the Account Portal
- Log in to https://account.lnu.se/ with your staff account to verify yourself via BankID.
- When you are logged in, select "My account", "Confirm your identity" and then "BankID".
- If it shows "Your identity is confirmed", instead of "Confirm your identity", then you already have the right security level on your staff account.
- Guide in the Service portal how to increase the security level of your staff account via BankID, https://serviceportalen.lnu.se/en-us/article/1681826.
- Legitimize yourself at the IT support counter
If you do not have the opportunity to raise the security level of your staff account via BankID, you need to physically visit IT support and provide identification.
If you have questions about how to confirm your identity for the higher security level, you can contact IT support.
If you have questions about the new requirement for a higher security level for logging into Ladok, you are welcome to send an email to support.studieadministration@lnu.se.
