Apply now to join a European student project for more sustainable campuses

Green My Community – Co-create the Future of a Sustainable EUniWell
Are you passionate about sustainability and want to make a real difference at your university and beyond? EUniWell is looking for 1-2 motivated students to take part in a student-led international project to co-create a shared Green My Community Hub, a model for greener and more sustainable universities across Europe.
As a selected student, you will represent Linnaeus University in this international collaboration, working alongside peers from other EUniWell universities.

What is the project about?

The Green My Community initiative is part of EUniWell’s work on environmental change and well-being. The aim is to build a hybrid sustainability hub, a space where students, staff and researchers can come together to exchange ideas, create green solutions, and support climate action on their campuses.

  • As a representative from Linnaeus University, you will:
  • Collaborate with peers across Europe on sustainability issues
  • Help design the Green My Community Hybrid Hub
  • Present your ideas at an international workshop in Florence
  • Receive a certificate and a EUniWell digital badge
  • Have your travel and accommodation costs covered, either fully or partially

What is expected of you:

  • Participate in one 1.5-hour online workshop in late September 2025
  • Join two 3-hour online workshops in October 2025
  • Work individually and in groups, approximately 15 hours in total during the autumn
  • Travel to Florence for a two-day roundtable in late November 2025
  • Write a short report and help develop a group presentation

Who can apply?

You are welcome to apply if you:

  • Are a Bachelor, Master or PhD student at Linnaeus University
  • Are interested in sustainability, climate action and community building
  • Speak English fluently enough to participate in discussions
  • Can commit time to the full process
  • Come from any academic background, all disciplines are welcome
