Four Employees Receive Linnaeus University’s Merit Award for 2026

Each year, Linnaeus University recognizes employees who are awarded the university’s badge of merit for their contributions to academia, and the recipients for 2026 have now been announced.

The Linnaeus University badge of merit is presented to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to strengthening the university’s vision of a creative and international research and knowledge environment that fosters curiosity, innovation, relevance, and closeness.

All employees have the opportunity to nominate candidates for the awards, and students may nominate for the award recognizing excellence in teaching. The decision on who receives the Linnaeus University badge of merit is made by the Vice-Chancellor.

The awards will be presented during the Academic Ceremony on 30 January, 2026, and each recipient will receive a diploma and SEK 25,000.
