Formal celebrations held in honour of this year’s master students

In the final days of May, graduation ceremonies were held in Växjö and Kalmar for all students who completed a 1-year or 2-year master’s degree during the 2024–2025 academic year. Below, please find images and recordings from the ceremonies.

More than 300 master students from all faculties at Linnaeus University attended this year’s ceremonies, which took place at Växjö Concert Hall and Kalmar Theatre. Each student received a written congratulatory message from their faculty, a flower, and big rounds of applause from friends and family in the audience.

Entertainment was provided by siblings Elliot Carsheim (guitar) and Molly Carsheim (vocals). Elliot studies on the music production programme at Linnaeus University, and Molly is enrolled in an arts programme at the Jenny Nyström school in Kalmar. Fanfares during the ceremony were performed by the trumpet section of Linnaeus University Big Band.
