Partners visit Attsjö for research dialogue
How can we work together to advance research and innovation for the future of forestry? On 23 September, researchers from Linnaeus University together with representatives from IKEA and Södra visited Attsjö, a unique test site east of Växjö where new methods for measuring and analysing the forest’s water and carbon balance are being developed.
The day included presentations on ongoing research and future plans for the site, followed by discussions about needs, shared interests, and potential collaborations.
Organising excursions like this is an important part of the partnership’s activities – a way to promote mutual learning, networking, and deeper understanding between academia and industry.
