New Call: Apply for Funding from The Bridge Project Portfolio
The autumn call for funding from The Bridge project portfolio is now open. Researchers at Linnaeus University, in collaboration with colleagues at IKEA and/or Södra, are invited to apply for funding for research projects that promote innovation and sustainable development, with a particular focus on the forest value chain. The application deadline is 31 October 2025.
The Bridge is a strategic partnership between IKEA, Södra and Linnaeus University that brings together academic excellence and industry needs. The project portfolio enables collaborative projects that address today’s societal challenges and explore new solutions.
The Bridge supports research projects in four key areas:
Sustainability and climate change
Renewable resources and fossil-free production
Balancing ecosystem services
Forests and society
Projects may vary in scope and duration – from pure research to educational initiatives, skills development, dissemination activities, or other joint efforts that support the vision of the partnership.
