Since April 2025, the political situation in the United States has affected updates to the ERIC (Education Resources Information Center) database. As fewer new documents are currently being added to ERIC, ProQuest has launched a supplementary index: ProQuest Education Research Index.
The new index is designed to ensure continued access to research material and already covers about 75% of the journal titles previously included in ERIC (including many of those recently removed).
The index is intended to be used in conjunction with ERIC, as ERIC still contains material not included in the new index, such as grey literature and older content. You can search ERIC and the ProQuest Education Research Index separately or together.
