Peter Aronsson invited to a meeting with the President of France

French President Emmanuel Macron has invited representatives of higher education from European nations to Sorbonne in Paris to discuss Europe's scientific ambitions in the current geopolitical climate.

One of the invitees is Linnaeus University's vice-chancellor, Peter Aronsson.

"It is very gratifying to have received a personal invitation from President Macron. I look forward to participating in discussions on very current and important issues," says Peter Aronsson. "How can European universities, through collaboration, enhance the value of their contributions in a time when so much is at stake?"

On the morning of Monday, May 5th, discussions with the French President will take place at Sorbonne. In the afternoon, further discussions and workshops will be held on the future of European universities together with representatives from the European Commission at the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
