The Bridge Project Portfolio 2025 Call is Now Open – Apply for Funding!
The call for The Bridge Project Portfolio 2025 is now open! Researchers at Linnaeus University, in collaboration with colleagues from IKEA and/or Södra, can now apply for project funding to drive innovation and sustainability focusing on forestry and wood.
The Bridge
Södra and IKEA, in collaboration with Linnaeus University, aim to establish a joint platform for challenge- and demand-driven knowledge development, primarily linked to the entire forest value chain but also addressing other issues related to sustainability and innovation.
Through its project portfolio, The Bridge supports research projects in four key areas:
Sustainability and climate change
Renewable resources and fossil-free production
Balancing ecosystem services
The forest and society
There are two calls for funding each year, and the deadline for this round is May 1.
